Chat in GMail!

Yey! GMail launched a chat in the mail itself. Cool stuff. Now I dont need to worry about the proxy thing to get into Yahoo or GTalk. Heeeeya..
Just log in to GMail and you can see a Quick Contacts there. U can see if your friends are online or not. There are options corresponding to each buddy, whether you want to mail or chat. And try chat, a small java script kind of window pops up. And voila.. That’s it. Enjoy chatting.
Try it out.. It is cool.. The smilies are kind of cute :-).
Also the conversations get saved as a mail. U can refer it anytime. No need to save it separately. There may be many more features. I havent tried yet though.
When GTalk was launched, it seemed to be the simplest. Now I dont think that chatting can be any simpler :-).

Yeah .. it was much needed, I guess. They r now competing big time with Yahooooo !
