Mangalored!

Mangalore is a very peaceful city I should say. No traffic at all. Could cross the roads very easily :-D. A city with lots of greenaries. Seems to be not developed much. I guess with such an ambience and atmosphere one could happily work. It was raining heavily but we walked along the uncrowded roads as if we were going to explore something unexplored so far :-D.
Once we got completely wet, we decided to work out some safer plans, viz. Fanaa. And saturday was over after that movie and dinner [Yeah treat by me again :-(, Hope Infy salary slip will come to my inbox soon :-)].
The funniest thing happened after dinner. My friend’s rented home is guarded by a German shepherd[Rocky] and a stray dog[Jimmy]. We were quite late, Was around 1130 when we reached in front of the house. And it was raining heavily also. Yeah we had umbrellas, two for three people :-). Rocky the furious one started barking at me and by no means it was letting me in. We tried to call up house owner. But they were not picking up the phone. We felt that I’ll have to stand outside the house till morning :-(.
Suddenly an idea struck on my friend’s brain. I had biscuits in my bag, yeah horlicks biscuits only- elaichi one :-D. And my friend tried to take Rocky inside his cage by offering the biscuits. But he seemed to be too intelligent that he ate the biscuits which were outside the cage only.
Till that time Jimmy was standing in the porch enjoying the rain. By seeing biscuits he came out and started eating those. Stupid dog he is.. Hehe.. Then it became tougher for my friend to keep Jimmy away from the biscuits while trying to get Rocky inside the cage.
And finally after an effort for about half an hour she succeeded and Rocky was caged :-). Me happily went inside the home and slept.
And BTW she uncaged Rocky once I got into the home :-). Still two of those elaichi horlicks biscuits are left in my bag :-P.
On Sunday nothing extra ordinary happened. Got drenched in the rain again. That’s all. Couldnt visit beaches because it would be very dirty. And also we could see only water all over outside. Then why to go till beach to see the same water :-(. Sigh…
Me wondering how Mangalore got that name…. Man+Galore. Should be NoManGalore :-).
